Chickens are often called the "gateway" into homesteading as they are such a fun, and mostly simple animal to care for. Many homesteaders start with chickens and move on to goats as their next project.

We were no different! We acquired baby chicks as a gift from our neighbors just a few weeks after moving to our homestead and we have never looked back.

We no longer sell chickens but occasionally have hatching eggs available for local pick up.
